Purchasing Specialist
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Research and evaluate potential vendors to find the best suppliers.
- Compare offers, negotiate terms, and compile vendor proposals for PR/PO creation.
- Coordinate and document negotiation results with suppliers.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring on-time deliveries and resolving issues.
- Track and analyze purchasing data and trends for better planning.
- Handle administrative purchasing processes efficiently.
- Maintain supplier performance tracking and source new vendors when needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
- Strong business and commercial mindset with excellent negotiation skills.
- Proficient in project management, organization, and collaboration.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (verbal & written).
- Basic understanding of finance, accounting, tax, and legal aspects related to procurement.

- Ensuring positive supplier performance with minimal delays or quality issues.
- Optimizing inventory control to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Maintaining high accuracy in order placement and fulfillment.

- Adapting to market changes and supplier dynamics effectively.
- Solving supply chain challenges with strong problem-solving skills.
- Collaborating effectively with internal teams to support business operations.
